Diamond Platnumz has maintained that he has respect for Diddy Combs when it comes to music.
Diddy Comb is currently detained as he waits for a trial after he was denied bail.
Tanzania musician Diamond Platnumz has finally broken silence on the allegations going around the social media of an old video of him speaking about his hang out with Diddy Combs.
The musician further acknowledged that he knew what was going around the social media and he had decided to ignore it all noting that he has mad respect towards Diddy Combs when it comes to his music.
“I’m someone who is talked about with words and in different ways… My life online, in art, and in reality are very different things…thus why I don’t usually respond to people’s comments.”
The musician went one to praise himself noting that when it comes to the music industry he knows that he is among the best and that he does not care what tales are spun about him.
“Mimi ni miongoni mwa sananii komavu na shupavu. Wewe andika na sema chochote unachotaka lakini sikujibu, sikohoi na sitetereki. (I’m among the mature and resilient artists. You can write and say whatever you want, but I won’t respond, I’m not bothered, and I won’t be shaken.’’
In conclusion, Diamond noted that he respects Diddy as a legendary artist and would not be addressing any of the accusations against Diddy Combs until a verdict is passed by the court.
“I won’t pretend to be a commentator on his situation because I haven’t studied law. In short, until the court speaks on the matter, I personally cannot judge him, but I respect him as someone who knows a lot about music.’’
Diddy is currently being detained awaiting trial following the charges he was accused of, sex trafficking, racketeering and violence charges.
