Former NTV reporter Eunice Omollo lands a new role at K24 TV

Former NTV reporter Eunice Omollo has recently landed a job at K24 TV. 

According to a colleague close to Omollo, she is expected to start her new job on Monday, December 16.

Eunice Omollo was in the limelight in May this year appealing for help from Kenyans divulging that she had for a long time struggled with her bipolar condition.

Following the financial hardship, Omollo had faced imminent eviction. 

She had also shared that she urgently needed medicine to control the bipolar condition which she has been battling for over 19 years.

It is however alleged that she is full of life and vigour as she embarks on a new chapter of her career.

The award-winning journalist is a former reporter for NTV who gained recognition for her work in health journalism.

Omollo had emerged as the winner in the Africa Media Health Network Best TV and Health Reporting AFP Awards in 2021.

She was recognized for her reporting on issues related to mental health. However while in line with her work of covering the pandemic, she was close to a suicidal attempt, which she later disclosed to the public.

Her work was notable for its depth and sensitivity, particularly during challenging times such as the Covid-19 pandemic.
