Kenya power has issued a statement on power supply.
Several parts of Kenya were hit by blackout on Wednesday, December 18th disrupting services and businesses as other Kenyans were left in the dark as well.

We are experiencing a widespread power outage affecting most of the country except parts of Western and North Rift regions. This cause of this outage is yet to be determined. We regret an inconvenience this may have caused and request our customers to be patient as we work towards restoring normalcy at the earliest opportunity.
Kenya Power stated where Kenya had experienced power outage in better part of the night.
During the morning hours, they released another statement reporting that power had been restored most parts of North Rift, Central Rift, Western Kenya, South Nyanza and sections of Nairobi and Mount Kenya region.

Kenya power released another moment a few hours later stating that power supply has been restored to all the affected areas following a widespread outage.
