Daystar University has revoked a deal signed with the Israel embassy in Kenya.
The deal was signed on Monday 16th November.
The decision to revoke the deal was signed by Daystar Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro in a statement on Wednesday.

announcing in a statement on X.
Amb. Michael Lotem and Prof. Laban Ayiro, VC of Daystar University joined forces to launch the Zion Forest, located at the Athi River Campus. This project, initiated by Yahel Margovsky-Lotem and the First Lady Mama Rachael Ruto will see the planting of over 5,000 indigenous trees on the campus, creating a vibrant green space and enrich the lives of the local community.
They stated.

The statement added that Zion Forest will stand as a monument of friendship between the nations of Israel and Kenya, and in defiance of the global threat of terrorism.
According to Nation, Ayiro stated that they were not in any way supporting the ongoing humanitarian conflict in the Middle East.
Daystar University esteem the sanctity of life and advocates for the peaceful co-existence of humanity.
Ayiro added.
