Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced temporary closure of a section of Nairobi Southern Bypass.
The closure will take place from Tuesday December 24th from 8:00pm to Sunday 5th 2025 midnight.

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) would like to inform the public that a section of Nairobi Southern from Ole Sereni interchange to Ngong road interchange (both carriageways) shall be temporary closed.
The statement said.
The closure will be to enable the rehabilitation of the expansion joints of all the bridges along the closed section as well as reconstruction of concrete pavement of the virtual bridge.
All the traffic will be diverted through Mombasa Road (A8) Highway, Lang’ata road and Ngong road as an alternative route during the period.
Motorists are requested to exercise caution around the work areas, to follow the proposed traffic management plan below and cooperate with the police and traffic marshals on sight.
The statement added.
