Zari has once worked as a house maid in the UK. Working as a maid has taught her to have respect for household assistance. Zari Hassan has recently reviewed that she once worked as a maid in the UK during a challenging season in her life. In an interview on her son’s channel , Zari disclosed to her son Raphael Tlale that she took up housekeeping to pay her bills. “I have actually been a maid at some point . I did laundry and cleaned houses in the UK. it was all part of effort to achieve a better life.’’ Zari also highlighted the late nights she worked while packing sandwiches and groceries at a supermarket adding she started working at an age of 17 years. “I have been working since I was 17.People often think “she’s just living this life but I have truly earned it.’’  She did not fail to recall an incident when she faced a significant phone bill from international calls to her mother in Uganda. “I was shocked to learn I would not be paid due to the high telephone bill. I did not have money relying solely on my weekly wages.’’ But after all this Zari claims that she learned a lesson from all she went through. “Working as a maid and handling household chores has given me immense respect for house assistants. I have been in their shoes.’’    

The life of Letoo and that of his family members might be in danger after unknown people attacked his compound. This is not the first time the incident is happening. Renowned Citizen TV reporter Stephen Letoo has revealed that his life and that of his family members might be in danger after unknown men attacked his rural home. According to the reporter the unknown people hurled stones at his compound and threw others on top of his house further explaining that this is not the first time. “Last night a group of unknown people attacked my rural home in Enooretet at around 2am .They hurled stones at my compound and threw others on top of houses. This is not the first time it is happening despite my continued restrain.’’ Letoo stated that he has taken the event seriously since he considers it as an attempted murder  on him or his family members. “I take this as a serious threat to my family and an attempted murder on me or my family members. This too is an intimidation of the highest order to me as a person, work and life.” He concluded by warning those doing it to stop before he names and shames them further calling on the newly established GSU camp that is not far from his house to wake up and protect his life and that of his family members. “To the person surrounding my home at night please stop for the very last time. Individuals sending people to attack my home please stop for the last time before I name and shame you. I am calling on the newly established GSU camp not far from my home to wake up and protect my life, that of my family and neighbours.”

Eddie Butita a Kenyan comedian and film maker, popularly known for his famous show A Nurse Toto, has announced he is searching for a chef. On his Instagram account on (15/9/2024), the comedian claimed he wanted a female chef who comes from the coastal region because of his love for Swahili dishes. He also said that the lady must be single, between the age of 24 to 28 and must not have a child. Buita also specified that she must be beautiful and be ready to work for late hours because he might want to et in the middle of the night. Fans and celebs have reacted to this to his Instagram post, with some noting that the specifics seem like he’s looking for more of a wife, and should be very clear about it.
