Kamba Festival Offers Apology Over Alleged Harassment of Revelers, Launches Investigations

Kamba festival offers an apology over an harassment of VIP’s bodyguard in a press release which took place on 14th September 2024 at Carnivore Grounds Nairobi. In their statement, they said they were grateful for those who had attended and supported the Kamba Festival making it a memorable success. Since the Organisers received reports of an incident involving VIP’s person bodyguard during the event. They wanted to be clear that such behavior was unacceptable. The Organisers stated that it went  against everything that the festival stood for. The team also went ahead to apologize to anyone affected  and said that they were co-operating with the authorities to ensure  that the matter was thoroughly investigated. The event bosses promised to implement stronger security measures to prevent such incidences and ensure safety of all attendees.

Steve Massage: “I hate kids.’’

The Wakaniaru University lecturer does not like kids. Stevo is mostly known from Tiktok for allowing his followers to share their experiences in relationships. Renowned Kenyan Tiktoker Stevo Massage has recently received a lot of criticism all over the social media after acknowledging that he hates kids. In an interview with Oga Obinna, Stevo clearly stated that he can not stand kids even if they come near him. “I can not stand a kid hata akikuja hapa sai natoka, I don’t have a problem with you when you love kids so dont have problem or hate me for disliking kids.’’ He has been creating content on Tiktok that is related to romantic relationship issues where he takes time to read people’s experiences in  relationships then advise them in the end.  He also goes live on the same platform and allows some his willing followers to share their different experiences in relationships and what they have learnt.  He has even named the account  as “The Wakaniaru University’’ making it one of the most followed account on Tiktok mostly by women. His comment on kids has brought a lot of mixed reaction amongst his fans, many believing that maybe he has gone through something that has made him result to hating kids.

Morara Kebaso Gifted a New House in Kahawa Sukari

Morara Kebaso, a Kenyan Activisit, has been gifted a new house in Kahawa Sukari. In his twitter account, he said that his family friend who lives abroad had offered to donate the house which was located in Kahawa Sukari. He said that the house was going to be their office headquarters and base of operations. He also said that they would need to pay a small service charge to maintain the property. Boniface Mwangi Reviles His Struggle with Suicidal Thoughts

Activist Boniface Mwangi has at some point had suicidal thought last month after the pain and trauma he endured during the protest. The activist has been fighting for social justice which always comes with great personal cost. Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi has recently opened up on a heartbreaking period of his life when he considered taking his own life. Through a social media post, Boniface disclosed that early last month, he felt so overwhelmed by the grief, pain and trauma he had endured and considered taking his own life. He had even signed his will and texted a few people considering it as farewell. The support and the love he gets from his family and friends prevented him from doing what he intended to do. The activist further expressed his concern over the deteriorating political situation in the country moreover the issue of using excessive force against peaceful protestors. Mwangi did not fail to criticize the president for labeling demonstrators as “treasonous’’ and deploying the military to quell the unrest which led to numerous casualties and disappearance. Activist mwangi’s commitment to social justice always comes with huge personal cost. His family lives with constant fear of his abduction or murder. Mwangi has also faced numerous threats and arrest but despite all this he always remains resolute in his fight for a better Kenya.

IG Masengeli Gives Reasons For Recalling Of Justice Mugambi’s Security

The acting inspector general Gilbert Masengeli has revealed the reasons behing recalling Justice Lawrence Mugambi’s security detail. He said, according to him, the allegations were unintended. He said that the two- security officers of Justice Lawrence Mugambi were recalled during that weekend for training purposes. They were supposed to attend a VIP security course. IG Masengeli then said that measures had been put in place to ensure that Justice Mugambi’s security were not compromised. Masengeli then said that the security details had been looked upto after recalling of Justice Mugambi’s security officers to attend a training. This was in response to Chief Justice Martha Koome.

Stevo had previously announced plans to build a house for Machabe and he has confirmed the progress via an Instagram post expressing his excitement on fulfilling his commitment to Machabe. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Arrested in New York City Over Sex Traffic Investigation

Sean Diddy Comb, one of American’s greatest ever rappers, has been arrested. He was arrested in Manhattan hotel at the lobby as a federal prosecution and not a state prosecution. His Attorney issued a statement saying that it was unjust prosecution. He said Diddy was an imperfect person who was not a criminal. He therefore said that Diddy voluntarily relocated to New York in the site of his charges. His charges were sexual assault and sex trafficking as well as distribution of fire arms. A video was seen sometime back of Diddy assaulting his girlfriend but he denied that none of such thing had happened. Still when the video came out, Diddy apologized to his girlfriend. Despite the arrest, it was never clear why Diddy combs was being arrested. His attorney claimed that they were still investigating the matter.

Akothee Announces Plans for Another Grand Wedding

Musician Akothee is planning to have a third grand wedding very soon. According to Akothee, the last wedding that was done last year was just a practice for the coming one. Esther Akoth who is popularly known as Akothee has finally disclosed her plans to have a third wedding. Speaking during an interview at Radio Jambo today, Akothee shared the plans she has for her upcoming grand wedding where she will officially be married to her current partner Nelson Oyugi popularly known as Nelly Oaks. “The other wedding was small, it was just practice. The real wedding is coming soon. There is a bigger one.’’ In addition Akothee highlighted that despite the challenges she has faced in her previous relationships she still has not lost hope in love. “Why would I lose hope in love? I need to be loved. I am going to have another wedding .This one will be international. The guy is well know,’’ The singer did not reveal much details about the wedding claiming that there are people who don’t wish others well but she stated that the guest who will attend the wedding will be invited based on their value. “There are many witches around. This time we won’t announce the date, it will be by invitation and the invitation will be based on your wealth.’’ Akothee and Nelly Oaks have been celebrating their relationship openly for the past few months. The mother of five has  previously  been officially married twice , first to her first husband Jared Okello and the second one to Denis Schweizer who is mostly known as Omosh.

Mike Sonko Unmoved by Criticism Over His Conduct During Dance with Karen Nyamu.

Sonko has finally responded to the claims that he inappropriately touched Karen Nyamu during the Kamba festival event. The festival was attended by many and Oga Obinna was the MC. The former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has responded to the allegation that he inappropriately touched Senator Karen Nyamu during the Kamba festival event that happened last weekend. Sonko’ reply comes after a video of him and Karen Nyamu has circulated all over the social media where Karen is seen dancing while he is standing behind her and as the Senator continues to dance Sonko is seen watching her and allegedly touching her. In his reply, the former Governor questioned whether there was any problem with what he did. “I have seen this clip making round on social media. Let me ask, what’s wrong with admiring with your eyes?’’ Sonko also attached a screenshot of the video where it was claimed that he had inappropriately touched the Nominated Senator. The Kamba festival had attracted a large crowd and the MC of the event was content creator Oga Obinna who surprised many by capturing Karen Nyamu dancing from the stage then posted the video on his Instagram stories.
