President William Ruto in Germany

President William Ruto had gone to Germany on Friday accompanied by his wife First lady Rachael Ruto for a two- day visit. The visit was also accompanied by his Honorable Mr. Raila Odinga. During this trip, the president of Kenya was received by the official leaders at Berlin, Germany in which they discussed a few ways to improve the Kenyan government having many unemployed youths. In this discussion, Kenya and Germany entered into an agreement to allow 250, 000 skilled and semi-skilled Kenyan workers to migrate to Germany for employment. Being a positive idea, this gives a chance for more youths to get employment. This deal becomes a part of Germanys strategy to address its skilled labor shortage while Kenya is able to provide job opportunities to youths. Apart from this, Germany had agreed to offer higher education to Kenyan nationalities in a signed agreement. This gives Kenyans a chance to go and study and a benefit of visas and two years extension in Germany. With this, long term visas will be available for students with possibility of expanding long term temporarily residence permits once they expire. Hours later after the agreement. President William Ruto and Fist lady Rachael Ruto are spotted playing table tennis in Berlin, Germany. Having a great reconciliation between Kenya and Germany, it will offer a lot of job opportunities and higher education levels. A lot of Kenyans are looking forward to different scholarships that will enable them further their skills and be of greater use to the society compared to before when they did not have any choice than to hustle. This will be a great opportunity and will create a greater relationship and bond between Kenya and Germany.

Kisumu County Officials Celebrate Anyang’ Nyong’o’s Appointment as ODM Party Leader

Kisumu county governor Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o has been selected as the ODM acting party leader. Prof Nyong’o has over the years played an important role behind the scenes in shaping the party’s policies and strategies. Kisumu county governor Prof Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o has been selected to chair the ODM party center management committee. The Kisumu County ODM coordination officials have taken time to congratulate H.E Prof Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o on his appointment as the acting ODM leader furthermore thanking the retired leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga and the party’s central management for recognizing Prof Nyong’o. The trust and confidence that the Kisumu fraternity has in Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o was another thing that the committee acknowledged during the press release adding that he has shown his loyalty to the party since 2005 when he played an important role in the formation of the party. Adani Deal Whistleblower Nelson Amenya Says His Life is in danger: “Labda Wanipeleke Sayuni”

Who is Nelson Amenya? Nelson Amenya is a thirty-year-old student currently pursuing a master’s degree and living in France. He is the whistle blower who has uncovered the controversial to lease the Jomo Kenyatta international airport to an Indian corporation, ‘Adani airport holdings limited’ Why is his life in danger? According to the controversial plan by the government, Amenya began exposing the documents showing the terms and conditions of Adani group to the government. The government has attempted to assure the public that the deal is yet to be signed but Kenyans have rejected the Indian corporation. They want to understand why there is so much secrecy in it. The details terms and conditions included taking the sole control of JKIA. He claimed that they also seek to have the title deed under their name. This exposes JKIA to have financial risks. The reason was to use as indemnification for taking loans and after two years, the negotiation of workers contract would take place. Amenya further says that Adani seeks to own 18 percent of JKIA after their thirty– year lease expires. The contract allows Adani to call of the deal if the government fails to protect its business interests including covering dates and redundancy costs. In this deal the government should be responsible in ensuring Adani receives an annual concession fee of 50 million paid quarterly in advance. The local leaders have displayed their opinions towards and they feel resentment toward it accusing the government of threatening Amenya. In conclusion, with this, Amenya claimed that the DCI is investigating his company. He also claimed that he had received threats from various Indian bloggers and fears for his life. He said that his life has drastically changed.
