Kenya is set to host one of Africa’s most important football meetings, a testament to the country’s role in African football.

The Africa Football Business Summit is set to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from the 24th to 25th October, at the Weston Hotel.

The event, organised by the The Football Foundation for Africa, is set to bring world renowned stakeholders to a round table to discuss matters attaining African football.

The summit will discuss some of the biggest challenges that the continent faces in gworing its football and also unlock the potential of the African youth thought sports and innovation.

The event has been held in Kenya for the last few years, with many stakeholders in the game coming to share their wisdom and offering resources to set the agenda for the world’s game on the continent.

AFBS also hopes to determine the long-term goals for the football landscape even as East African countries Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda prepare to co-host the 2027 AFCON games.

The summit will not only focus on football on the pitch, but ensure solutions to develop the external factors in order to build a thriving and sustainable football industry.

 

Development Benchmarkin, Business and marketing

The summit will also offer platforms that will set benchmarks that will measure the development and growth of the industry in all levels.

It will also provide a platform for businesses to display their products and services and also offer chances to participate in panels and workshops.

Kenya Airways has also partnered with AFBS to offer 10% off flights for delegates travelling to attend the summit.

Those that will attend the meeting will also get a chance to experience to see Kenya’s hospitality and culture by taking time before or after the summit to enjoy the beauty of the country.

Some of the speakers expected at the summit include: Governor Hon Gladys Wanga, Nozibusiso Sibiya, Jonas Revers,Jeremy Salley,H.E. Amb Silvio Albuquerque,Stefan Wagner, among others.
