Kenyans Spend Most Time on Social Media Than Any Other Country Worldwide, Research Says

Kenyans have been ranked as the top country with citizens that spends most of their time on social media worldwide according to statistics.

The data was gathered from users aged 16 to 64.

The reports showed that Kenyans spent an average of 3 hours and 43 minutes in applications daily.

The time was allocated to social media platforms.

South Africa was ranked the second with an average of 3 hours and 37 minutes.

Brazil on the other hand was ranked the third with an average of 3 hours and 34 minutes.

Currently, there are more than 5 billion active social media users globally.

According to the reports, women spent 16 minutes more per day on social media than men.

The reports also stated that by then, social media users spent 2 hours and 23 minutes on phone.

TikTok was ranked as the average social media platform where most people spend their time on social media.

You Tube on the other hand was ranked as the overall social media platform where most people spend the time in on social media.

Japan was the last one to be ranked as the country where citizens spend their least time on social media with an average of 1 hour and 53 minutes daily.
