The head of State has paid a courtesy visit to former President Uhuru at his home in Gatundu in Kiambu County.
This was the second time they were meeting since this year but the first private meeting they were having together.
The two leaders discussed issues of National interest that have been raised by citizens as challenges and handicaps to their well-being as posted by the former State House spokesperson Kanze Dena who released a press release statement.

The national interests included animosity within the political pranks that has created a hostile atmosphere leading to harassment of individuals perceived to be in the opposition or hostile to the Government, matters of taxation that has been raised by Kenyans and possible solutions to them.
Among other things included matters of insecurity and best practice in Citizen policing and matters of human capital at all levels capable of resolving these challenges.
According to the statement released, His former Excellency laid emphasis on specific areas that he felt were crucial in stabilizing the country.

He stressed that in a democracy, sector practitioners need to be consulted continuously and sustainably because they usually have solutions themselves.
President Uhuru agreed to be consulted privately or otherwise, in efforts that lead to a hopeful, prosperous united and stable nation. On his part, H.E President Ruto agreed to engage all stakeholders in an effort to remove any unnecessary tension in the country and to propose a reconciliatory way forward.
The statement further said.
