Khalif Kairo, CEO of Kai and Karo Motors has officially confirmed that he has legally married model Wavinya Maria. He officially confirmed on Eve Mungai show where the two had gone to be interviewed. The CEO said that the reason why he married too fast was because he had been in many toxic relationships. This made him to know what he wanted from a partner. He said that when he met Wavinya, Khalif realized that they both had similar principles in life. They both wanted to settle down, raise children and not waste any chance as they felt it was time. Khalifa added that he treats relationship like business which he believes that when opportunity avails itself, he grabs it. He further explained that what motivated him to marry Wavinya was because she was not materialistic and even always cooked for him each day which he believed was the best feeling ever. Wavinya also shared her thoughts on their marriage. Being young doesn’t necessarily mean I am not exposed. It’s gotten to a point where if we’ve dated for too long, you are practically wasting my time, like, why are we dating for two years? That’s why I decided I wanted to get married and now I’m ready Wavinya said in the interview. She further added that even though she had a life in the past before Khalif, she had no interest in money because she had seen money. Morara Kebaso Receives Backlash After Selling Inject T-shirts at Ksh. 2.5k

Kenya Activist Morara Kebaso has faced critics for selling INJECT t-shirts for Ksh. 2500 per piece. INJECT is a political party which was officially registered on October 2nd, 2024. Morara revealed in statement today on his social media claiming the sweatshirts were available and any from any location could order. He said that the sweatshirts were stitched and branded locally and were made of pure cotton. The activist said that the sweatshirts would be their resource mobilization for the movement and its activities as all the money would be used to fund activities. Activities mentioned included public interest court cases, civic education, medical aid camps etc. Kenyans have reacted differently towards the progress. They commented on his social media as follows: Sio Leo: Thank you for making it easy for police and DCI to identify and arrest anti-government Kenyans. It’s not campaign time so I beseech all of you to stop wearing such paraphernalia to create an anti-government narrative. You will be arrested. Wesley Kibande: When the parents of those Gen Z’s ask Morara why he’s making money at their children’s blood. Kihato Eric: Selling hope to Kenyans is indeed a lucrative business. Shensea, a Jamaican songstress whose real name is Chelsea Linda Lee has set her bars high regarding finding a love partner. The artist had revealed that she wanted a relationship that could last. While speaking about her family, Shensea said that she didn’t believe in divorce. The Jamaican singer said that in the lineage of her family, no one had ever divorced each other and the love that they had for each other was one that could last, she had witnessed it ever since she was a child. Arnelisa Muigai, a Kenyan entrepreneur, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nero Company has shared that she and her husband quit alcohol to focus on spiritual growth. She is the daughter of Senator Tabitha Karanja and Joseph Karanja. The entrepreneur is married to Melvin Ibrahim director at Apex Automotive and car dealership based in Nairobi. The two got engaged on March 16th on a lavish party hosted in Naivasha at Arnelisa’s parents’ home. Since then, the two have been living happily and aiming towards achieving their couple goals. Recently, Arnelisa took to her social media stories to celebrate 7 months of sobriety. There are some things that cannot lack in the house. Not a fan of Ribena but my husband loves them a bit too much. We quit alcohol drinks to focus on both our lives and on God. For me, I realized I love water and herbal teas. I will show you my favorite teas on my next slide. Going on seven months with no alcohol together with my husband. We love it. The Kenyan entrepreneur said on her social media. Central Bank of Kenya Grants JP Morgan Rights to Open Kenyan Branch

Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has accorded JP Chase Bank rights to officially open a branch in Kenya. The announcement was made on 14th October 2024 in a statement. CBK said that the authority to grant JP the rights was granted pursuant of section 43 of the Banking Act and followed the fulfillment by JP Morgan Chase Bank of the stipulated authorization requirements. CBK added that Chase Bank would contribute to the diversity of Kenyan’s financial sector and catalyze trade and investments. Under the Banking act, Representative offices of foreign banks in Kenya serves as marketing and liaison offices for their parental banks and affiliates and are not permitted to undertake banking business. The JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A Representative Office Kenya will operate in Line with this requirement. Central Bank of Kenya said in a statement they released. They further said that the authorization of the representative office affirms Kenya’s standing as a premier financial services hub. JP Morgan Chase Bank is a financial conglomerate based in USA which operates over 60 countries worldwide. It offers services ranging from assets and wealth management. Commercial banking, investment banking and financial technology. JP seeks to explore business opportunities in Kenya and wider East Africa Region.

ODM (Orange Democratic Movement) leader Raila Odinga has handed over his leadership to Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o as the acting leader supposed to succeed him. Raila Odinga said at an event with the National Executive Committee (NEC) in Mombasa the Kisumu Governor deserved the position as he had been committed to the party since it was founded over 20 years ago. Raila Odinga changed the leadership to Anyang’ Nyong’o as the acting leadership since he wanted to immerse himself as into the final competition for the seat of the African Union Commission (AUC) Chairman. Raila Odinga ensured that with his decision the party main aims and purpose would continue as he trusted in him. The former prime minister claimed that the committee made the decision a few weeks ago. He further added that they were rest assured that Governor of Kisumu would lead the party with a lot of assurance and aim. The appointment included appointing the Governor of Homabay County, Mrs. Gladys Wanga as the new National Chairperson who took over from Treasury Cabinet Secretary who was known as Mr. John Mbadi. Gladys Wanga had proved herself for the seat before when she showed her hard work as she vowed for the seat to be the Governor of Homabay County.
