“The trending video of Simon Kabu is honestly disappointing. The interviewer crossed the line, it was unprofessional, embarrassing, and lacked objectivity. They should publicly apologize and redo the interview properly. Simon is truly a patient man,” Trevor wrote.

Recently, Mungai Eve has come under sharp criticism online over her interview with the CEO, where she asked questions about his marriage scandal.

During the interview, Eve asked Simon direct and probing questions, some of which left him struggling to respond.

She moreover constantly interrupted Kabu and in his response to most of the questions, Simon noted that he did not want to discuss the issue, but the interviewer kept on probing.

“Personally you guys have disappointed me I would not lie, why do we have to get to know all this about you guys?” asked Eve.

“You know I don’t want to discuss that issue because Sarah is the mother of my kids and so the far that it has gone I will not want to discuss it,” Simon replied.

The tension increased when Eve pressed Simon about the CCTV footage showing Sarah involved in an altercation with another woman at their house.

“When that thing happened, the nanny went to the police and wrote a statement…” said Simon before he was cut short.

“But how did the clip get online?” interrupted Eve.

Another sensitive subject brought up in the interview was the topic of gender-based violence which had been circulating in the media.

When Simonn was questioned about the claims, he remained tight-lipped.

“I do not want to say anything about it. It is a matter that is in court, and I also don’t want to be misquoted,” he explained.

Despite all that Simon confirmed to his fans that the business would continue to thrive.

“Bonfire Adventures is here to stay. Our management is doing well. Sarah and I are still business partners,” he said.
