KRG has announced that he has officially retired from the entertainment industry
He has also noted that he is planning to venture into politics.

Renowned Kenyan Dancehall artist Kimani Karuga who is popularly known as KRG The Don has announced retirement from the entertainment industry.
Taking this announcement to his Instagram account, the artist stated that he was done with all aspects of the entertainment scene, including showbiz, influencing, controversy, and music, to focus on better things.
“That phase of my life is done nimemalizana na entertainment (music, showbiz, influencing, controversy, and series). I enjoyed every single moment from online fights, vipindire mingi pia high, and embarrassing situations.’’
Further making it clear that he would be shifting the attention to his goals, business, God, and his family.
He also noted that he has plans to venture into elective politics in the upcoming general elections.
“I want to spend my time doing better things (God, myself, family, business, and education) as I transition to politics polepole tu!!
