South African DJ Uncle Waffles has expressed her disappointment over a chaotic Nairobi concert which took place on Friday night.
This she released via a statement on her social media account.
The South African DJ stated that she was extremely disappointed and shattered by the way for the love of Ama piano, handled the event as she had forward to it for a while.

I am deeply disappointed and shattered by the way the “For the love of Ama piano” Handled this event which was something I have been looking forward to for a while, from sound issues even before my performance to my team being mishandled, this wasn’t something I expected at all.
Uncle Waffles wrote on her statement on Instagram stories.
She added that what had disappointed her was how Kenyan supporters were treated by the organizers and security at the event as people were pushed around, mishandles and treated with the least amount of care.
She further said that that was something she wouldn’t stand for.
The safety and wellbeing of people who come out to support me and this genre is my top priority, and I could not play my set any longer while people were visibly uncomfortable and at risk of getting hurt.
The DJ stated again.
Uncle waffles felt in her statement that the event organizers had not only disappointed her but had also let down 10,000 people who came out in support of the event.
Even after the disappointment, DJ Uncle Waffles promised to come to Kenya again with a much better outcome.
