Yvette Obura was on the verge of being homeless last year in the month of April.
She has recently encouraged people to not ever give up no matter how tough the journey is.
Bahati’s baby mama Yvette Obura who is also known as mama Mueni has recently disclosed how she almost ended up homeless last year.
Taking to her Tiktok account, the mother of one started by thanking the heavens for always being there for her and turning things around even when she was at her lowest, further explaining how she almost ended up homeless.
‘’Last year was so hard for me. I was on the verge of being homeless. I was in a very bad place. I would lock myself in the room and cry every day. But one thing about me is that I never give up on God and praying. In April is when I lost everything; I mean everything.’’
She continued to recall how she was having a hard time trying to deal with reality, something that was making her have second thoughts of even relocating from her two- bedroom house.
“In April is when I lost everything. When I say everything, I mean everything… I remember telling my sister, Life is so hard, and at this point I think I will go to Mom’s or relocate from my 2 bedrooms to a bedsitter, and she was like, No, we serve a living God.”
According to her God never disappoints since she was able to get a breakthrough and she can now be able to afford things she could not afford last year at a time like this.
“If you told me last year at a time like this that I would be able to afford to pay for my trip to Dubai,… it means a lot where I am as of now, and it is truly a blessing. I remember telling God, I want to make my daughter so proud, and I thank God my daughter has able parents. Like Akikosa Huku, Huko Kwingine Atapata. For someone who went from sleeping on a mattress within a year, I upgraded my mom’s car; I traveled three times; this year I am in Dubai with my bestie; it is all really a testimony.”
Yvette concluded by stating that the reason why she chose to do the live session was to inspire people out there to not give up and trust no matter how tough the journey may be.
