Elon Musk Adds KSh. 12k Charge for New Starlink Subscribers as Congestion Fee

A new congestion fee has been introduced to new Starlink customers with limited network capacity. The company is owned by Elon Musk, who is an American billionaire. According to him, the new network capacity was going to depend on the place where the person lived. Every customer was to be required to pay Ksh.12899 as an additional fee in order to be able to access the internet. The company had already started charging customers in the United Kingdom where most people had a huge subscription for satellite internet. Elon Musk said that the congestion fee will be a one -time charge for customers purchasing or activating a new service plan. The company on the other hand assured that it would no longer charge the fee to new customers once its network capacity improved. This gave most people hopes to continue using the network hoping for the best in the future.

Tiktoker Ajib Gathoni has only earned once from a Tiktok live stream session. It was on her birthday when she did the live stream back in 2022 and she earned 210k within 3 minutes. Renowned Tiktoker Ajib Gathoni has recently disclosed that she once earned Sh 210k from a single Tiktok live. In an interview with Cheque Podcast, Ajib mentioned that this was her first and only Tiktok live session she has done. “In 2022, I think I did my first live stream on my birthday and in just 3 minutes I made 210k.’’ The Tiktoker did not fail to talk about her health condition which has been a topic around the social media lately. “I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis, this is a condition where the lining of the uterus grows into the uterine muscles. This is not harmful per see, but it causes heavy and prolonged menstrual bleeding and severe cramping.’’ She went ahead to state that she is currently undergoing treatment for this condition but she is still experiencing pain. According to her the condition can however be treated with the right medication , good diet and exercise. “I was prescribed medication to take before and during my menstrual days. My next appointment is in October and I need to return with feedback…’’

Cardi B Hits Back at Lawsuit Accusing Her, Offset of Underpaying For a Mansion

Cardi B and offset have been accused for not paying for a mansion in full which they used in their music video ‘Like what’ which was directed by Offset. The lawsuit was filed yesterday, 17/9/2024. The owner of the mansion claimed that he wanted $35,000 for damages caused by them. The rapper responded on her twitter account regarding the matter. She said that she and offset had paid the owner $10,000 in cash to rent the property for a whole 24 hours. Cardi B said that there was an extension of an hour which they paid overage fees in March. Based on her statement, the owners were there the entire time the shoot took place and Cardi B claimed that she got pictures and videos to prove that. Still on her twitter, Cardi B claimed that there was no reason for her to shoot a TikTok video for 24 hours. The owners had heard the whole song and saw the duration they were shooting. Cardi B believed that they just wanted to find loophole and get over. She assured them that she would see them in court.

Sean Diddy Denied Bail After Pleading Not Guilty

Sean Diddy denied bail despite offering $50 Million cash. His legal team plans to appeal the bail decision. American rapper Diddy Combs was denied bail after pleading not guilty in the three charges he was charged with. The charges included racketeering , sex trafficking by force and transportation to engage in prostitution. According to the rapper’s defense team they believe that it’s unjust for the rapper to be denied bail. “We believe this is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the US Attorney’s Office.’’ Combs was arrested on Monday by the federal agents in Manhattan and he had voluntarily relocated to New York anticipating the charges. Upon the hearing the judge who was presiding the case expressed his concern about the nature of the charges highlighting that the crime happened behind closed doors even when pretrial services were monitoring. “This is a crime that happens behind closed doors, even when pretrial services are monitoring.’’ His legal team proposed placing him on home detention with the hefty cash bail but the judge remained unconvinced. The legal team is however planning to appeal the bail decision.

Bradley Mtall will acquire his government essential documents within 10 days. The government has solved the issue that was delaying the process of issuing IDs.  The Gen Z Goliath Bradley Mtall has recently been promised by the Government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura that he will be getting his ID card and his birth certificate within 10 days. The promise was made after Bradley Mtall visited Mwaura’s office yesterday and the promise was aired via their social media page. “This afternoon ,Bradley Marongo, popularly known as Gen Z Goliath or simply Bradley Mtall , paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Government Spokesperson, Dr. Isaac Mwaura .During the visit it came to light that Bradley had not acquired any essential government documents including his birth certificate and national identification card.’’ The statement also favored other Kenyans seeking to have new ID Cards because they were assured that they will be able to receive ID Cards  within 10 days also after the process. According to the spokesperson the issue that was there has officially been solved. Bradley Mtall has lately been receiving a lot of privileges since he rose to fame. Being a brand for different companies is one the many opportunities he has received so far.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been accused by MP Kimani Ichung’wah for threats against Dennis Itumbi for not sharing a tweet. During an interview on Spice FM,  Ichung’wah said that when a man is given power and money, his true character shows up. He also said that when a man is given access to state resources, the same happens. Kimani Ichung’wah said that Dennis Itumbi, a junior officer, entered Eldoret State lodge grabbed by the collar got accused by Rigathi Gachagua for not tweeting what he was supposed to tweet. He believed that that was looking down upon his members of Parliament. In his statement he claimed this: ‘Why would someone insult a gracious lady of Baringo and representative by calling her prostitute? Why would someone say how much he spent on paying a member of parliament’s party?’ He said that all those was unethical because it was not fair to do all these and make members of parliament feel bad especially those from the Mount Kenya region. In all these, Kimani Ichung’wah said it was all to intimidate the government and the president.
