I’ve heard stories. Crazy stories.” Vera did not forget to express her condolences to the woman’s family and stressed the importance of researching thoroughly before undergoing any procedure. “Please do your research very well before trusting anyone with your life. If you’ve got to do it, go for board-certified surgeons with a lot of experience,” she advised, adding that extensive experience is key for ensuring both safety and positive results. “I would even advise over 15 years’ experience, with thousands of surgeries performed successfully.” Vera was in the UK where she opted for facial fillers rather than cosmetic surgery, a detail that has caused some confusion. “By the way, I did not get cosmetic surgery on my face. Some people need exposure, fr. I got fillers—they are temporary, last nine months, then dissolve. Even with that, I had been doing research since September 2023. Not surgery—one full year of research before I went ahead.” She also shared snippets of her conversations with the clinic via direct messages, showing how they guided her to send photos and details before her visit.
