The High Court in Nairobi has  dismissed the charges against activist Morara Kebaso.

Speaking on behalf of Morara, lawyer Pareno Solanka revealed that Morara Kebaso is free and the court has directed that the bail he had paid be reimbursed.

“Morara has been released, bail to be returned to him.’’

Morara had been accused of cyber harassment charges after publishing posts on President William Ruto and billionaire David Langat a few days ago.

Morara was even arrested dramatically while he was in his office in Kahawa Sukari by masked police, who confiscated his phones and laptop before driving him away.

He then appeared before the Milimani Law Courts where he was released on a Ksh50,000 bail, which the court has directed be refunded.

The activist has been reviewing unfinished government’s projects all over the country, something that has made him gain a lot of popularity.
