Former Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Internal Security David Mwangi has been charged with Fraudulent acquisition of a parcel land located along Mombasa Road valued at Ksh 350 million.
The statement was released by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on December 6th, 2024.
The arrest and subsequent arraignment of the Former PS followed a meticulous investigation by the DCI Land Fraud Investigators following a complaint lodged by a client.

Former PS in the Ministry of Internal Security Dave Munya Mwangi has been charged for the fraudulent of a parcel land located along Mombasa Road, after forging a title deed with the help of a rogue official at the Ministry of Lands.
The DCI said in their statement.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) made the decision to charge the tree with three counts of conspiracy to defraud, false document and forgery of a title.
David Munya Mwangi, the Director Olbolsat Farm Limited was arrested and arraigned at Milimani Law Courts, where he took a plea of not guilty and was slapped with a bond of sh20 million with the alternative of a cash bail of sh5 million.
The DCI added in their statement.
The DCI further stated that the other two compliances Sammy Karanja and Moses Ojuka are still being pursued.
