Business man Jimmy Wanjigi has made accusations about state agents wanting to harass him and his family by keeping surveillance operation outside his residence.

Wanjigi said on twitter reported the incident on Friday claiming that there was presence of unmarked vehicles outside his home.
He noted again that they had been there for a week.
He compared the unmarked vehicles with the operations of Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
Sometime back, youths in Kenya had declared a protest for Finance Bill and later on they stated that they wanted to reject Ruto in Kenya.
These protests went on and on that there was a belief that somebody was funding them.
Wanjigi was among those suspected of financing the protests.
This made them to raid Wanjigi’s home on August 8th 2024 in Muthaiga.
The policemen allegedly said that they had recovered gadgets and grenades from one of his escort vehicles.
The business man denied the claims and hid from the polices after being appealed to surrender to the police for questioning.
A such warrant was issued to his home on August 16th where the police entered his premises in order to conduct investigations and obtain evidence.
Although it happened, Wanjigi was arrested on August 19th at the DCI Milimani office after presenting himself for questioning over his alleged funding for the protests.
He was released two weeks later on a personal bond of 10 million after a court appearance.
He was also ordered to surrender his passport for a ruling that is schedule for 12th September.
