Principal Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has launched digital hub in Kakamega.
The main reason is to enhance digital learning in Kakamega.
The digital hub was launched on Monday, 9th December at Kakamega Polytechnic.

In response, the Government is making bold strides to harness the potential of digital technologies by expanding internet connectivity. Through an ambitious plan to link all Technical and Vocational Education Training Institutions (TVETs) to fiber, the goal is to establish 1,450 digital hubs nationwide, ensuring every community has access to the opportunities of the digital age.
The Principal Cabinet Secretary added.

This is the opportunity to use technology to expand our business. The world of opportunities is right here in your devices. I reiterate the government’s commitment to integrate technology with our education system. Our commitment is to upscale e-learning in all learning institutions.
Musalia Mudavadi said during the launching of the digital hub.
The Kakamega Governor who also attended the launching said that digital information is needed in every superhighway and added that ICT was managing the gap faster that it had ever been imagined.
Based on the program, about 450, 000 jobs have been provided with aim of employing 1 million young people.
