Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has shared his unique perspective on money, likening it to flowers in his life.
discussing his upcoming football tournament, the MP acknowledged the challenges involved in organizing such an event and sought divine assistance to ensure its success.
Salasya highlighted the tradition among Kenyan politicians to host football tournaments during school holidays as a way to engage the youth, discourage delinquent behavior, and foster voter support.

MP Salasya admitted that pulling off a successful tournament requires significant financial resources.
He prayed for divine assistance to accomplish the competition he has organized in his constituency, further noting that the budget for making the event a success is quite high.
He however expressed faith that God would help him achieve his goal, describing money as flowers in his perspective.
“Hosting a successful tournament is no easy task. God, I pray for Your help. The budget is high, but who is God? He will make it happen. To me, money is like flowers,” Salasya wrote
The PK Salasya Classic Cup kicked off on December 1 and will conclude on January 1.
