The religious leaders of Kenya had raised concerns towards abductions, killings and disappearance of people blaming the leaders of Kenya not doing their work of protecting its citizens.
The Catholic church on the other hand had returned the money that had been donated by the Head of the Republic and other church leaders for church projects.
Religious Faiths and the State serve the same people and have always worked together in ensuring national cohesion and providing social services, including education, health and helping the vulnerable. We commit to maintain this partnership.
The President wrote on his social media account X.
