The Head of State has nominated Mary Kimonye as new Vice-Chairperson of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
He also nominated Boya Molu alongside other five who will serve the public Service Commission.
This was announced by a statement of Friday, 20th December 2024 by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei.

This came ahead of vacancies in vice-chairperson and members posts expected to occur in Mid-January 2025 with an additional vacancy expected in April.
Kimonye before nominated served as the Principal Secretary in the State Department for Public Service under Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration.
She was also among the candidates who had been shortlisted for the PSC vice-chair post last month.
Molu on the other was an Independent Electrol Boundaries Commission until January last year when his term ended.

The Public Service Commission of Kenya is a constitutional commission that man-ages and develops the public service’s human resources.
The Public Service Commission is made up of a chairperson, vice-chairperson, seven commissioners appointed by the President with the approval of the National Assembly.
The Commission also has a secretary who is appointed by the Commission for a five-year term.
