Former President Uhuru Kenyatta on December 7, attended the wedding ceremony of Kalonzo Musyoka’s daughter alongside several other opposition heavyweights.
Talking about the wedding, Kalonzo’s daughter Damarie Saada who was the bride was dressed in a signature white wedding dress as her father walked her down the aisle to marry Martin Nyaga in an outdoor ceremony.
Kalonzo took to social media to express his gratitude to Uhuru for gracing the ceremony reveling in their friendship.
“I thank President Uhuru Kenyatta for his friendship and solidarity with my family by attending the wedding ceremony of our daughter Damarie Saada and Martin Nyaga this afternoon in Naivasha,” Kalonzo wrote on X.
He moreover posted photos that showcased other politicians who attended the event including Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni and DAP-K Party leader Eugene Wamalwa.
Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti and former Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu also attended.
Uhuru was seen interacting with the former Vice President during the event that took place in Naivasha.
