Kenyans outside Milimani Law Court demanding for the release of activist Morara Kebaso.
Morara was arrested yesterday while he was in his office in Kahawa Sukari.

Kenyan Gen z have today staged a protest outside Milimani Law Court demanding the release of activist Morara Kebaso who was arrested yesterday by detectives at his office in Kahawa Sukari.
Morara has been accused of several charges including cyber harassment which is contrary to section 27 of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act.
According to the charge sheet, on 28th September 2024, Morara alongside his accomplices allegedly posted false information about David Langat.
“David Morara Kebaso alias Morara Kebaso Snr on the 28th day of September 2024 at an unknown place within the Republic of Kenya, jointly with others not before the court, while using the X Corp Account dubbed; @MoraraKebasoSnr, knowingly without lawful excuse, posted false information to wit…”
In a post Morara made, he had allegedly accused President William Ruto of reportedly tricking Langat into lending the Head of State an exorbitant amount of money with a promise to refund and according to Morara Langat allegedly took huge loan to fund the president, and was hit by wave of actions that saw him reportedly lose property worth million to the government.
“William Ruto approached DL Langat and told him he desperately needed more money for the campaign. DL Langat used his properties as security and took big loans to help his friend…Right now DL Langat is being auctioned by banks and the person who is buying the properties is William Ruto.”
The activist is currently arraigned at Milimani Law Court alongside the former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu who was also arrested yesterday.
