Activist Morara Kebaso is finally free after a cash bail of Ksh 50,000.
He is expected to appear again for a hearing on Friday 4th October at 2 pm.

Kenyan activist Morara Kebaso has been released on a cash bail 50k at the Milimani Law Court.
The High Court has directed Morara Kedaso alongside his lawyer to appear for a hearing on 4th October at 2 pm.
During the court proceedings, NARC-Kenya party leader Martha Karua acted as Kebaso’s lead counsel alongside a team of more than ten other lawyers.
Morara was arrested yesterday while he was in his office at Kahawa Sukari by the detectives.
Morara was charged with cyber harassment which is contrary to section 27 of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act among other charges.
According to the charge sheet, on 28th September 2024, Morara alongside his accomplices allegedly posted false information about David Langat.
“David Morara Kebaso alias Morara Kebaso Snr on the 28th day of September 2024 at an unknown place within the Republic of Kenya, jointly with others not before the court, while using the X Corp Account dubbed; @MoraraKebasoSnr, knowingly without lawful excuse, posted false information to wit…”
During Morara’s arrest yesterday, his lawyer managed to trail the police car up to the Nairobi Regional Headquarters where he was detained before he was transferred to the DCI headquarters.
Many of his supporters had also staged outside the Milimani High Court demanding his release.
