The dissidents were opposing the government’s plan to roll out a nationwide vaccination program that targeted 22 million heads of cattle and 50 million goats and sheep as of next year January.

Foot and mouth disease, PPR are diseases we have been fighting since I was born. Anybody opposing vaccination to eliminate FMD and PPR is simply mad and unreasonable and possibly stupid.

The Head of State said.

Honestly, how else can you explain? You don’t know about livestock, shut up, at least for those of us who keep cattle. There is an evil spirit in Kenya that is resident in some leaders. They spread lies and oppose everything for the sake of opposing.

The Head of the Republic added.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka was among the people who had condemned the program.

We reject these experiments in total. Let everyone know that we will resist the, to the very end. We ask our fellow Kenyans to join us in opposing the proposed vaccinations, which clearly hurt our animals and endanger our people.

Kalonzo Musyoka had said.
