DCI Denies Claims of Stopping Rigathi Gachagua from Attending Church Service

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has dismissed claims of denying former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua from attending church. They released their statement on their social media account on Facebook. According to the DCI, the claims prevent Rigathi Gachagua from attending a church service was published on 11th November 2024 by Daily Nation. According to Daily Nation, there were alleged attempts by detectives in an unmarked Subaru cars who prevented Rigathi Gachagua from attending a church service in Nairobi. In their statement, they stated that they wanted to clarify that those allegations were entirely false and seemed to be aimed at misrepresenting the actions and intentions of the DCI. The DCI operates within the parameters established by the rule of law and has consistency affirmed its commitment to refraining from interference in the liberties of individuals and institutions. The DCI added in their statement it was incorrect the fact that the writer was unable to obtain a comment from the DCI. The DCI said that they provided a prompt response, reaffirming the DCI’S commitment to respecting the autonomy of religious institutions and the writer acknowledged receipt of their response. The Director of criminal Investigations cautioned the Daily Nation to make it a mandatory to thoroughly verify facts, present balanced perspectives and handle sensitive topics carefully to uphold its commitment to truth and fairness in journalism. The further said that the caution should be taken seriously especially when it affects individuals’ reputations and the integrity of institutions.

Haiti Prime Minister Garry Conille Fired Month After Visit to Kenya

The Haitian Prime Minister Garry Conille has lost his job a few months after visiting Kenya for talks with president Wiilliam  Ruto. Garry Conille was fired on Sunday by the country’s election council  following a political power struggle that has plagued the war-stricken nation since gangs took over. According to the official notice published in Le Moniteur, the country’s Gazette, on Sunday, November 11, Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, an entrepreneur who owns a chain of dry cleaners and a former Senate candidate was selected by the transition council to replace Conille.  The reasons for his firing, however, remain unknown. Didier Fils-Aimé is also the former president of Haiti’s Chamber of Commerce. In early October, Conille landed in Kenya for talks with President William Ruto following the deaths of over 70 people at the hands of the gangs in Central Haiti. bilateral talks were held on issues centered on the Multinational Security Support Mission which is led by Kenya. The two leaders also discussed ways of strengthening the longstanding ties between Kenya and Haiti, particularly in areas of mutual interest, including security cooperation and fostering partnerships that promote regional stability. The Prime Minister’s seat will now be ushering in its third prime minister in three years since Haiti’s president was murdered in July 2021, leaving the top seat vacant for years as no elections have been conducted since.

UDA PARTY National Executive Commitee (NEC) Designates Deputy President H.E Kithure Kindiki, as it’s Deputy Party Leader Effective Immediately

Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua has been appointed as United Democratic Alliance (UDA) deputy party leader. This was in a meeting held on 11th November 2024 by UDA National Executive Committee (NEC) where it came to a conclusion that Gachagua should be replaced as the party’s deputy leader. UDA chaiperson, Cecily Mbarire and Secretary General Hassan Omar said that they had arrived at a conclusion whereby the succesful impeachment of Former Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua last month blocked him from performing his duties as the Deputy party leader. The also gave the new Deputy party leader assurance that his unmatched skills would help take the party forward. I want to assure you of my unwavering party to the ideals that our party stands for. I will work with all the organs established under our party constitution for the good and better performance of our party. The Deputy President said in his speech as he took over the seat as the Deputy party leader. The unity of Kenya is not a threat to the segments that constitute Kenya. The principal assistant of the President added. The former Deputy party leader, Rigathi Gachagua was impeached by the National assembly and finally kicked out of the office by the senate after he was found guilty of 5 grounds out of 11 grounds.

Activist Kasmuel McOure Joins ODM Party

Renowned Kenyan political activist Kasmuel McOure has joined the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party. The announcement was made after a meeting with party chairperson and Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, Kasmuel said the party is now out to revive youth and student leagues across the country. He went on to note that ODM is the only pro-people party in East and Central Africa furthermore called on young people to join the party, insisting that it is the only political movement that pushes for a country where everyone can live with dignity. “If you’re willing to join a substantive political movement for a fair, democratic Kenya where everyone can live with dignity, consider @TheODMparty – the largest pro-people party in East and Central Africa! He will also play a part in getting young people to register to be members of ODM. Speaking at the same event, Governor Wanga said that the future of ODM belongs to bright young people like Kasmuel Mc Oure. “ODM is the party of the future and the future of ODM is in the hands of our young people. Our Gen Z, and Gen Alphas, the ones who are coming up and that’s why we want strong involvement of brilliant young people like (Kasmuel) Mcoure.” Kasmuel became the face of Gen Z protests in Kenya, following the enactment of the controversial Finance Bill, 2024 by Members of Parliament. The move to join ODM comes a few weeks after Kasmuel held a meeting with former Prime Minister and founding party leader of the ODM party, Raila Odinga.

Trump Announces Plan to Legally Recognize Only Two Genders: “Male and Female”

President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has announced that he wants to revoke Joe Bidens policy of changing physical appearance. The Head of state said that, on his first day, he will revoke Joe Bidens rule policies on gender farming care, a process that includes changing the physical appearance and performing surgeries on minor children. Regarding this, the President said that he will sign a new executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transmission. He added that he would also ask congress to permanently stop federal taxpayers’ dollars from being used to promote or pay for the procedures and pass a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states and declare that any state that participates in it, will no longer need federal help and terminated immediately. The head of the republic also said that he will support the creation of a private right of action for victims to sue the doctors who have unforgivable perform such surgeries on minor children. The department of justice will investigate the big farm and big hospital whether they perform such surgeries on sex transmission in order to get rich at the expense of vulnerable patients. We will also investigate if the big farm or hospital or others have illegally marketed hormones which are not licensed or approved. My department of education will investigate that if any teacher said yes to a child to be trapped in the wrong body, would be faced with consequences for sex discrimination.  President Donald Trump said. The Head of State also said that positive education about nuclear family will be promoted. He said he would ask congress to pass a bill that the only gender that will be recognized in states will be a male and female and they are assigned at birth. The bill will also protect the rights of parents not to allow a child to change their gender without the parents’ concept. Former DP Rigathi Gachagua Praises High Court Ruling on Slum Eviction Compensation

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has recently made another public appearance in a church in Kahawa West accompanied by his loyal allies. Gachagua praised the Judiciary for its recent ruling ordering the government to compensate victims of forceful evictions in various slums of Nairobi among them Mathare, Gwa Kairu, Mukuru Kwa Ruben, and Kiamaiko slums due to the threat of flooding. “I was happy with the courts because they ruled the government to compensate victims of evictions and demolitions.” According to Gachagua, one of the charges leveled against him during his impeachment motion was that he opposed the government’s demolition of people’s houses without fair compensation which he pleaded guilty to during his trial. Gachagua furthermore urged his supporters to continue maintaining silence.  “We are not fools, it is peace that we love. As a responsible leader, I would not want to speak utterances that would put our people in trouble. I want our people to stay in peace wherever they are.’’ He also called on Gen Zs to obtain their Identification Cards (IDs) so that they can vote in the 2027 general elections.  Gachagua also shared he has gotten wiser and will exercise caution when choosing friends, especially in the political scene. He did not forget to ask congregants to support leaders who voted against his impeachment condemning those who supported his impeachment.  “We were shocked that people can even sell their mother if the price is right.’’ His comment comes after Justice Ann Mogeni of the High Court ordered that the residents displaced by the evictions be compensated by the government for the losses they incurred.  The judge also ruled that the government was aware of these settlements but chose to forcibly evict the residents, describing the evictions as inhumane.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki Returns from Botswana, Hints at New Collaborations

Deputy President of Kenya Kithure Kindiki has return from Botswana. The Deputy was on his first assignment in Botswana to represent President William Ruto during the inauguration ceremony of President Duma Boko. Kindiki recently shared highlights of his trip to Botswana which he shared on his X account formerly known as twitter. Kenya considers Botswana an ally in continent economic development, peace and security, tourism education, health and renewable energy. The two countries have shared experiences in politics, democracy, development and trade that date back to the independent struggle. The principal assistant of the President stated. He added that currently there was over 1200 Kenyan citizens residing and working in Botswana and the Government appreciated the cordial treatment accorded to those Kenyan professionals who overtime contributed to set up governance and educatiob strctures in Botswana. On behalf of President William Ruto, held bilateral talks with President Duma Gideon Boko in Gaborone, Botswana that focused on cooperation in the areas of climate change, tourism, trade in coffee and tea, beef farming, development of horticulture and floriculture, mining, cooperatives management and regional peace, security and stability. Botswana’s New First Lady Kneels Before Husband During His Inauguration Ceremony

Botswana’s first lady, Kaone Boko kneels before husband as a sign of respect. This was during the inauguration ceremony of her husband Advocate Duma Boko who was being sworn in as the 6th President of Botswana. The inauguration ceremony took place at Gaborone on 8th November 2024 where the president took his oath. During the inauguration, his wife who was dressed in a light purple dress was seen kneeling before him as a sign of respect and love towards the President. I will maintain the constitution of Botswana and uphold the laws, and that I will direct my abilities to the service and welfare of the people without fear or Favour, affection or ill-will. So, help me God. President Duma Boko said as he took his oath of office at the office of the chief justice three days after elections. During his acceptance speech, the president said that he wanted to secure investor confidence as well as ties with mining companies active in Botswana while exploring ways to diversify the diamond-dependent economy, a measure seen as critical to stabilizing the country’s finance.

William Ruto Dazzles in Samburu Attire During Maa Cultural Week Celebration

President William Ruto has attended the MAA Cultural week at the Samburu National Park. The aim was to celebrate Kenya’s rich Maasai culture and heritage. The festival began on 6th November 2024 which features a wide cultural activity such as traditional dances, music, storytelling, crafts and cuisine providing the attendants with the great experience of the Maasai culture. The event was organized by County governments of Narok, Kajiado and Samburu through the Maa Economic Bloc ad Governors such as Patrick Ntutu, joseph Ole Lenku and Jonathan Lelelit. The aim of the festival is to create an annual week platform for celebrating and showcasing the Maa culture, offering spaces for public performances, creative production and exhibitions. It promotes awareness of the rich heritage of the Maa-speaking communities, networking opportunities and encourages partnerships among local and international stakeholders. President William Ruto attended the function on 8th November 2024. His grand entrance was appealing dressed in the Maasai culture including the colorful beads, an iron rod and red Shuka cloth. President William Ruto was ushered in by the Maasai cultural dance where he began by celebrating the cultural greetings. The head of state said that it was the second edition of Maa Cultural week and appreciated those who participated in making the celebration successful. The President said that Kenya is a country of togetherness where everybody should be cared for especially protecting the children, culture and custom, especially custom as an instrument. President Willaim Ruto emphasized on educating children so that they could be leaders of tomorrow.

President William Ruto Seeks Clarity on Haiti Mission After Trump’s Election, Speaks to US Secretary of State

President William Ruto has engaged in a conversation with the United States secretary of state, Antony Blinken. The conversation was held on Thursday, 8th November 2024 whose discussion was to find out the way forward on Multinational Security Support (MMS) mission to Hatiti led by Kenyan police officers. The Head of State and US Secretary discussed the transition of the mission into a UN peacekeeping operation to enhance the capability of the mission to help stabilize Haiti. Kenya and United States are continuously working together to enhance our collaboration to ensure improved governance. This includes the fight against corruption and provision of capacity building to make out security institutions more efficient, effective and accountable in the discharge of their mandate.  His Excellency said that he had discussed the pertinent issue stated above and agreed on how the two countries would work together. The President added in his statement that Kenya was working closely with the United Nations to restore peace and security on the region. After my visit to South Sudan and Ethiopia, I have had a discussion with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on the situation in South Sudan, Sudan and Somalia.
