Millie Odhiambo Introduces Her Husband during Extravagant Book Launch

Millie Odhiambo, a Kenyan Member of Parliament has finally introduced her husband. Being a Member of Parliament, despite being a Professional lawyer, she has represented Suba Constituency located at Homa Bay County. She has been a member of Orange Democratic Movement. Millie Odhiambo has been described as controversial and outspoken. This was due to the fact Millie had always spoken anything that was on her mind without fear of anyone. She recently introduced her husband Mabona during the launching of her book Be Rigged on October 1st 2024 who was present at the event. Kenyan Politicain Martha Karua who had once vied to be the President of Kenya was present at the event. The Kenyan Member of Parliament was dressed in a red dress and goldish nek piece. During the introduction her husband referred to her as ‘My Cherie’ in French. She said that her husband was an elder at the church and that was the main reason why she referred to her as Elder Mabona. Millie Odhiambo seemed to blush. This warmed the hearts of many. Mabona also whispered something on Mabona’s ears before he left. Kenyans got amazed by the situation as they had never seen the lady shy like that before.

Governor Eric Mutai Impeached By 31 Members Of The Kericho County Assembly

Kericho county governor Eric Mutai has recently been impeached. The governor was impeached by 31 members of the county assembly ( MCAs) Governor Eric Mutai has been impeached by 31 members of the Kericho County Assembly after ignoring a court order that had temporarily halted the proceedings.  Governor Eric Mutai was accused of gross misconduct and constitutional violation. Governor Mutai’s impeachment motion was introduced on Wednesday, without reference to the court’s decision.  Speaker Patrick Mutai allowed the motion to proceed, sparking questions about whether the assembly was aware of the legal developments. The Governor had named the county assembly, Speaker Mutai, and MCA Rogony as respondents in his petition seeking to halt the process. The impeachment comes a day after a court ruling by Justice Joseph Sergon, which barred the county assembly from continuing with the impeachment process until a petition filed by Governor Mutai is heard on October 15, 2024.  Despite this, Sigowet MCA Kiprotich Rogony, who led the charge, remained undeterred, alleging multiple offenses, including misuse of public funds and indecent conduct. Governor Mutai has not yet responded publicly to the assembly’s decision. Eric Mutai now joins the  list of governors in Kenya who have been impeached by county leaders.

Morara Kebaso Gets Approval to Register INJECT Party Ahead of 2027 General Elections

Morara Kebaso, a Kenyan activist, has been officially approved to register his political party by the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties. The political party has been called the Inclusion of National Justice Economic and Civic Transformation. The Kenyan Activist was gifted a house at Kahawa Sukari sometime back which he asked Kenyans to help him contribute the money for funding the furnitures of the house. Kenyans raised an approximate of three million which helped him to buy an old car and even buy furnitures of the house claiming that his organization had very many different departments. The development had been made after the party’s initial step towards full registration. According to the Office of the registrar of Political parties, the name of the political party had been reserved for a period of 90 days from the issuance of the letter. This allowed the party to proceed with its next step in the political registration process. In regards to this, Morara Kebaso announced that the INJECT Party of Kenya will sweep Parliament Senate and all Elective seats like a flash flood. He further stated that he was welcoming anyone to the office at Kahawa Sukari, Kiu River Road, 6th South Avenue.

World War 3? Iran Launches Its Largest Missile Attack on Israel

Iran has launched largest attack on Israel. Iran fired 200 ballistic missiles that appeared too had been blunted by Israel defenses with help of United States and its allies. Israel Prime Minister said that Iran had made a big mistake as fear grew. Iran said they responded to the attack based on the killings of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh. Apart from launching the war, Iran military chief warned boarder strikes if Israel responded. As the war escalates, Israel will send more troops to Southern Lebanon. The military urged residents of two villages in Southwest Lebanon within 18 miles of the boarder to move about 31 miles further into the country. Those residents were urged to move to Awali River. The warning came a day after Israel military issued evacuation orders for 27 villages on Tuesday 1st. Those residents were also told not travel using vehicles on Litani River towards South Lebanon. This was after the assassination of Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh. The Hezbollah Lebanese group has been believed to be the most heavily armed non-state group in the world. Hamas emerged in 1987 as a Muslim brotherhood. The have been receiving weapons and training from Iran.

Censure Motion Filed Against President William Ruto Over Abductions

Senator Dan Maanzo files a censure motion against the president. According to the senator, Ruto has failed to protect the lives of Kenyans. Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo has filed a censure motion against Ruto at the Senate over the conduct of the head of state. According to the senator, the president has failed in his capacity as the head of state to address key issues and problems facing the citizens of Kenya at the moment. In the motion, Dan Maanzo wants Ruto censured over the recent treatment of protestors during the antigovernment protests in Nairobi. The senator argues that Ruto failed to protect the lives of Kenyans at the height of the protests despite being the Chair of the National Security Council. “CONCERNED THAT Article 25(a) (c) provides for rights and fundamental freedoms which CANNOT be limited; the right to freedom from torture and cruel inhuman treatment or degrading treatment or punishment, right to fair trial bearing in mind the recent abductions, torture and disappearances of Kenyans.’’  The motion continues to argue that the President watched over the management of the government and failed to ensure that Kenyans had access to better services within the devolved units further accusing the president of delay in remitting funds to counties.

Morara Kebaso Released On 50k Cash Bail

Activist Morara Kebaso is finally free after a cash bail of Ksh 50,000. He is expected to appear again for a hearing on Friday 4th October at 2 pm.    Kenyan activist Morara Kebaso has been released on a cash bail 50k at the Milimani Law Court. The High Court has directed Morara Kedaso alongside his lawyer to appear for a hearing on 4th October at 2 pm. During the court proceedings, NARC-Kenya party leader Martha Karua acted as Kebaso’s lead counsel alongside a team of more than ten other lawyers. Morara was arrested yesterday while he was in his office at Kahawa Sukari by the detectives. Morara was charged with cyber harassment which is contrary to section 27 of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act among other charges. According to the charge sheet, on 28th September 2024, Morara alongside his accomplices allegedly posted false information about David Langat. “David Morara Kebaso alias Morara Kebaso Snr on the 28th day of September 2024 at an unknown place within the Republic of Kenya, jointly with others not before the court, while using the X Corp Account dubbed; @MoraraKebasoSnr, knowingly without lawful excuse, posted false information to wit…”  During Morara’s arrest yesterday, his lawyer managed to trail the police car up to the Nairobi Regional Headquarters where he was detained before he was transferred to the DCI headquarters. Many of his supporters had also staged outside the Milimani High Court demanding his release.

Kenyans Stage Protest Outside Milimani Law Court Over Morara Kebaso’s Arrest

Kenyans outside Milimani Law Court demanding for the release of activist Morara Kebaso. Morara was arrested yesterday while he was in his office in Kahawa Sukari. Kenyan Gen z have today staged a protest outside Milimani Law Court demanding the release of activist Morara Kebaso who was arrested yesterday by detectives at his office in Kahawa Sukari. Morara has been accused of several charges including cyber harassment which is contrary to section 27 of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act. According to the charge sheet, on 28th September 2024, Morara alongside his accomplices allegedly posted false information about David Langat. “David Morara Kebaso alias Morara Kebaso Snr on the 28th day of September 2024 at an unknown place within the Republic of Kenya, jointly with others not before the court, while using the X Corp Account dubbed; @MoraraKebasoSnr, knowingly without lawful excuse, posted false information to wit…”  In a post Morara made, he had allegedly accused President William Ruto of reportedly tricking Langat into lending the Head of State an exorbitant amount of money with a promise to refund and according to Morara Langat allegedly took huge loan to fund the president, and was hit by wave of actions that saw him reportedly lose property worth million to the government. “William Ruto approached DL Langat and told him he desperately needed more money for the campaign. DL Langat used his properties as security and took big loans to help his friend…Right now DL Langat is being auctioned by banks and the person who is buying the properties is William Ruto.”  The activist is currently arraigned at Milimani Law Court alongside the former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu who was also arrested yesterday.

Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu Arrested For Allegedly Altering Hate Speech During An Event In Ruiru

Ferdinand Waititu was arrested by the DCI for claims that he altered hate speech. Waititu is one of the main allies of the DP who is facing political tribulations currently. The former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu has been arrested by the officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations. According to Waititu’s lawyer Ndegwa Njiru, the former governor was going about his business on the Eastern Bypasss when he was unexpectedly arrested. ”My client has been arrested by officers from the DCI and we are currently at the DCI headquarters here in Nairobi.’’ The former governor is currently being detained at DCI headquarters which is located along Kiambu Road accompanied by his lawyer. His lawyer has further disclosed that Waititu has been accused of altering hate speech during an event in Ruiru in his mother tongue language. ‘’They have informed us that they arrested him because of an utterance of hate speech that they alleged he made in his native Kikuyu language.’’  Ndegwa has also claimed that the arrest had nothing to do with the allegations stating that the officers were acting on ill motives meant to curtail the freedom of expression. ‘’I have instructed him to remain silent because the claims are not valid and it seems this is a move to curtail the freedom of expression for my client as enshrined in the constitution.’’ He concluded by confirming that they are following up on the matter with the detectives to have Waititu released. ”We have asked them to admit him on bail or bond and we are still here awaiting further directions.”

Dorcas Gachagua shows support to the husband ahead of his impeachment. The impeachment motion is set to be presented before the parliament. Pastor Dorcas Gachagua the wife of DP Rigathi Gachagua has recently broken silence on the pending impeachment motion against her spouse that is set to be tabled before parliament on Tuesday. According to Pastor Dorcas, many people still have a problem believing that her husband is the Deputy President and that might be the reason why Gachagua is facing political issues. The Second Lady continued to state that the truthful nature of the husband could also be another reason why he is facing this political tribulation. ‘’I have a man that I love. Many of you call him the real G, others call him the truthful man. He is the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya where many people have a problem believing that yet he was sworn in. He was prayed for on the altar.” She further highlighted the pending impeachment motion against her husband saying that he can only be removed through prayer. ‘’One who was prayed for on the altar can only be removed by the same altar. Tell them to fear not, the Lord God Almighty, the Lord of vengeance will fight for you.’’ Only time will determine Gachagua’s political career since the impeachment motion is set to be presented before the parliament on Tuesday.  His allies had moved to court to try and stop the tabling from happening but the court declined.

High Court Declines To Stop The Debating Impeachment Motion Against Regathi Gachagua

Blow to Gachagua as the court declines to stop the presentation of his impeachment motion. Gachaguas’s allies had moved to court to try and stop the tabling from happening. High Court judge Bahati Mwamuye has declined to give an interim order to stop the presentation of impeachment motion against the DP in the parliament. This comes after Gachagua’s allies led by Cleophas Malala who is a former UDA Secretary General moved to the court to try and stop the tabling from happening.  According to Malala through his lawyer Mwenda Njagi, he wanted the court to grant order to stop the tabling further arguing that the National Assembly and Senate were currently unlawfully constituted and therefore lacked the mandate to debate the impeachment. However the judge has cited the matter as urgent and directed the petitioner to serve the National Assembly and the Senate together with other interested parties by the close of business. The respondents and the interested parties have until October 3 to respond to the issues leveled against them and serve the court with the same response.  The case will be mentioned before the High Court on October 7, 2024, for further directions and issuance of orders.
